EXCEL HEAT have recently designed manufactured and installed, a high specification cast iron bath enamelling furnace for B&G Enamelling, Waterford Ireland
The furnace was designed to suit a wide range from the standard household size up to the large Victorian deep, high backed baths. Due to the very nature of the enamelling process the temperature uniformity throughout the furnace is critical. To ensure this critical even heating Excel Heat drew on the extensive experience in manufacturing similar cast iron enamelling furnaces.
Mr Eddie Butler, Managing Director of B&G Enamelling said that this was a very necessary investment for us to achieve the very high standard of enamelling demanded by today's market.
This low thermal mass insulated electrically powered furnaces has a maximum working temperature of 1000 Degrees C (1832 F) with purpose built high temperature hard wearing load bearing piers, which supports the baths once in the furnace.
Additional features include automatic start up facility ensuring the furnace is at the required working temperature at the start of the first shift. The process temperature is automatically controlled by the user friendly controller mounted in its own self contained control panel.
