Mannings Open New Training Centre

Mannings Thermal & Environmental Engineers have announced the opening of a new training centre at their headquarters in Southport England.

The new facility is part of a modernisation programme and it is equipped with the latest audio and visual presentation equipment. Mannings provide Confined Space Safety Courses as well as theoretical and practical after-sales training courses on heat treatment and on the operation of the wide range of specialised equipment which they manufacture, sell and hire.

Training courses are conducted by a team of specialist electrical and gas engineers and topics have included the theory and practice of preheat, concurrent heat and postweld heat treatments as well as methods for on-site heat treatment of pressure vessels. Tuition is also given on the use of Mannings Self Contained Heat Treatment Centres, Electric and Gas Heating Equipment, Furnaces, Control Systems and Instrumentation.
