Mannings Electric Surface Heating systems embrace a comprehensive range of applications from pipe and vessel frost protection to food processing, oils and chemicals.
The systems are economical to operate, require minimal maintenance and installation costs are low. Zone parallel and self limiting tapes are mostly used and can be supplied with stainless steel or tinned Cu. overbraid and PVC or fluoropolymer outer jackets for hostile environments. Heating Panels Type MLS
MANNINGS LAMINATED SILICONE rubber heating mats are designed for the temperature maintenance of process industry tanks, vessels, vats and platens. They are extremely lightweight and highly flexible and can be produced to accommodate complex geometries.
Type MLS constant wattage heating mats consist of an accurately formed and positioned resistance wire element of proven reliability laminated between sheets of heat resisting silicone rubber.

Heating Tapes Type MSL
Mannings Self Limiting heating tape, is designed for freeze protection of pipework and the temperature maintenance of process system pipework in commercial and industrial applications. The heating cable is constructed to comply with the requirements of BS 6351 Part 1 : 1983 and has a 2.1. service category.
Some major features of MSL are:Withstands temperatures down to -40oC. Power outputs up to 33 watts/metre at 10oC. Optional overbraid and outer jacket for hostile environments. Supplied in lengths up to 200m. Approved for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas (braided versions).
Some advantages of MSL are:Parallel circuitry allows cutting to any length. Especially suitable for use on plastic pipes. Can safely be overlapped.
