3 Way Multi Channel Controller

The combined use of heat treatment units, energy regulators and temperature controllers, provide semi automatic control of the rate of temperature rise and fall, with fully automatic soak temperature control.

Mannings multi channel controller has been designed to be used as a remote control facility where a heat treatment unit does not have temperature controllers as an integral feature.The unit has a standard temperature range of 0oC - 1000oC. Non standard temperature ranges are available if required. Each version of the unit has type 'K' polarised thermocouple input/output sockets to which a temperature recorder can be connected.The controller is connected to the 115Vac fused auxillary outlet socket mounted on the heat treatment unit.

Auto Programmer Controller - 6 channel Mannings 256 unit can be used to control various heat treatment processes by closely monitoring and adjusting the temperature rise and fall, the soak temperature, set point and duration, on up to six zones. Each zone can be used either in the fuilly automatic or manual mode. It incorporates the latest microprocessor based technology and is simple to sewt up and operate. Control setting is by means of push switches and an LCD screen provides visual indication of programme position and output status at any time.

The equipment is housed in a robust steel case, with protective crash bars on either side. It is supplied with a 2m x 3 core trailing lead for 100v supply and a 2m x 12 core lead c/w multi pin socket for contactor control. The six neon indicators in the boc indicate when a contactor is energised.

Fully Automatic P250A Programmers

Mannings P250A dual ramp type programmers control rates of temperature rise, soak and cooling. Programmers with up to eight channels can be supplied.

Fully automatic, once set the programmer needs no further adjustment and no further operating labour costs.The solid state microprocessor based programmer incorporates simple to set digital push switches. The easy to read 14mm L.E.D.'s provide visual indication of program position at any time during the program through a clear view panel in the lockable steel door.

Neon lamps indicating a channel 'On' condition for each channel are positioned on the front panel.A 20 minute memory 'Hold' feature to counter mains supply failure is standard. The 'Hold' mode will cancel and the program recommence when the mains supply is restored. The feature will ensure that all channels are within specification before the program reactivates. Programmer is connected to a 50 kVA or similar power source using the multi pin in line control socket and 110V supply plug.In common with all Mannings products the unit is a dependable, well designed and constructed instrument and is competitively priced.

Preheat Post Weld Control Unit

The unit is housed in a strongly constructed steel skid mounted cabinet and designed to distribute and control a 3 phase input supply to ten separate 60 amp circuits.Solid state burst fire controlled, the unit also incorporates an infra-red pyrometer system which provides accurate temperature control recorded on a single, or multi-point twenty-four hour continuous temperature recorder.Automatic programmer and digital temperature display are additional features.

Temperature Control/Contactor Units

The controller is connected to the 115Vac fused auxiliary outlet socket mounted on the heat treatment unit.For use from constant voltage sources - 40/60/80V or from welding machines to supply and control heating elements for pre and post weld heat treatments.

Very portable and convenient to use from your own ac or dc welding machines.

PLEASE NOTE:
When using DC machines the units are fitted with polarising magnets to reduce arcing on contactor contacts.
