Mains Voltage Control Units

For use on larger jobs where use of low voltage power sources and low voltage elements are uneconomical.Used in conjunction with 220V or 240V heaters. The unit accepts a 3 phase 380V or 415V power supply and splits it into 6 controlled contactorised outputs, each of which feeds three heaters connected in star. It is used for post weld heat treatment of closing seams on pressure vessels and also powering temporary furnace installations.The unit has a 400A 3 phase incoming isolator and a 1kVA double wound transformer providing 110V auxiliary power to remote temperature recorder/programmer units, or temporary lights etc. via the two fused outlet sockets on rear panel.

Each of the six channels controlling three heaters per channel has the following features:

3 phase 415v 5-pin outlet socket to BS 4343.Facility for switching off each heater individually.Energy regulator and PID temperature controller.Facility for remote programmer control.110V neon indicator.Type 'K' polarized thermocouple input/output.Sockets for recorder connection. The unit is mobile; self-contained within a substantial steel cabinet and requires minimal maintenance.Units can be supplied to suit all other worldwide voltage supplies - on request.
