Advantages, Highlights and Philosophy

The CCTV Video Memory System is a software supported digital video recording and archiving system. This system differs from conventional digital video recorders by the following features:

  1. Database linking
  2. Network capability
  3. Flexible recording and playback-quality

Database linking

All video-data are database-linked, so that each video can be regained over different search criteria's, if desired. You can reach the same result with external software. For some of the examples listed below, you need extra programming or special software versions.

Examples: You can search packets with the help of parcel-numbers. With the database all packets of one tour or of one customer can be shown. Over bank bookings you can access pictures in cash dispenser rooms. - Tank processes at gas stations can be shown. By a list of alerts you can access pictures in cash dispenser rooms. With "door open process" database it is possible to access pictures of persons who opened that certain door. You can access cash register events or reversal. Serial numbers on production queues can be found. Date and time of any processes are displayed. You can connect scanner data to pictures.

Network Capability

All functions of the CCTV can happen at the recorder and at any place in the network. All the functions at the recorder run over the recorder's intern network interface. The network functions can take place over following accesses: - Extra installed network for CCTV - House network direct, over network switch or over the firewall computer - Internet - ISDN Dial connection - Wave LAN - Leased Link.

Flexible recording and playback quality

Recording speed and quality is full variably. Any quality from simple ISDN or Internet quality up to high quality can be realized separately for every camera dependent on the alert-contact.

Open system for flexible alarm recording

Recordings can be started by different releases: - Manual start - Contact switch - Serial data processes - Motion detection - Barcode system - Time preset - SPS-controls - TCP/IP Remote Control - External software, even by foreign producers - Motion detector - Transponder-systems - existing video-data can be connected with data subsequently.

Flexible before and after alert times

You can choose any before and after alert times dependent on the alert (contact or movement). So in the case of robbery the videos can be stored by pressing a button, even the robbery is already over.
